Our Glass Tiles are made from sand!

Makes sense, since everyone at Island Stone loves the beach!

Island Stone glass tiles are produced from the highest quality materials and in the most advanced manufacturing processes. Our glass tiles are colored by applying layers of colored glass powders to the back of the glass body and heating them at high temperature until a permanent, irreversible bond is formed. 

They are extremely hardwearing and impervious to water and stains. They have very high resistance to chemical attack, are frost proof, UV stable and will not fade or discolor. Breaking strength is higher than porcelain. They are suitable for installation in a wide variety of situations - interior or exterior, dry or wet - including swimming pools.
