VSquares, a new twist on Island Stones innovative VTile design, creates a varied relief pattern that intertwines across a surface

The 4″ square pieces , wedged in diverging angles, create a non-directional design distinctively different from the classic linear nature of our original VTile and Rustic formats.  A versatile new design appropriate for interior and exterior commercial and residential projects.

VSquares come as a two piece tile measuring 14.4″ x 7.7″ x 0.4″-0.8″ in size. Currently being debuted in our Tropical White Limestone and our Temple Lava. Both offered in a smooth honed finish. The sliced surface of Level Pebble showcases the unique colors, designs and blends of our exclusive Java Grey Blend. Combining stones from a wide range of sources, this naturally toned blend has long been a highly sought after look in our Perfect Pebble line, making its inclusion in the new Level Pebble format a natural fit.

Level Pebble continues to be one of the fastest growing new designs from Island Stone. Level Pebble meshes the aesthetic of our Perfect Pebble with the flawless flat surface of our Random tiles. It is the ideal solution for customers who require a flatter surface, yet desire the appearance of natural pebble. Utilizing our original interlocking pattern, this addition to our Pebble Series opens up a new realm of surfacing possibilities.

While few can claim to have lived it, we all can appreciate the style and design that accompanies the rock & roll lifestyle. Looking to infuse this spirit into a landmark home in Santa Monica, designer Elaine Culotti  along with diverse team of notable designers completely remodel this classic property including Island Stone in a host of areas as they created the inaugural House of Rock.

As its name reflect, The 2012 House of Rock is a luxury rock inspired redesign of the former home of actress/singer Kathryn Grayson that pays homage to some of the most notable music icons of past and present.

The 1926 built house features various rooms inspired by specific stars including the  E-Street Band, Tina Turner and Fleetwood Mac. While designed to include some of the most advanced and sophisticated modern technologies, including a multimillion dollar professional recording studio at the top floor, the details in the finishes reflect the appeal of incorporating classic designs and modern materials.

With a diverse range of Island Stone glass formats including Boulevard, Waveline Mini and Artifact featured throughout the home, arguably the most impressive display of Island Stone materials is seen in the Strip Pebble liner that wraps the infinity pool and tub overlooking the Riviera Country Club outside the home.  The pool is matched with a covered cabana uniquely tiled with Absolute Pebble from floor to ceiling.

The lavish California home will go on the market  at the end of the year

We are honored to have both our Perfect Pebble borders and Waveline Mini Glass tiles be included in the award winning  bathroom designed by Yuko Matsumoto of Altera Design. The large, contemporary project beat out a host of exceptional designs to receive the coveted 2012 NKBA Best Bath Award. Alongside all it’s other accolades, this beautiful bath exemplifies the outstanding designs that can be achieved by combining Islands Stones diverse tile range with other natural and manufactured surfaces.

We will be exhibiting these specific materials along with a myriad of original materials and designs at the upcoming Hospitality & Design Expo at the Las Vegas Sands Convention Center on May15th through the 17th.
